An unusual opportunity has opened up for Ngunya Jarjum to be funded through Attorney Generals Dept to support a full-time student employee to complete CHC81115, Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) graduate certificate – fully funded.

The role will complete study before 30 May 2024 as well as be trained in Family Group Conferencing and support the Agency development of policies and procedures that support family led decision making, prioritizing cultural integrity.

Reporting to the Partnerships and Engagement Manager this role will:

  • Complete CHC81115 study by 30 May 2024
  • Complete Family Group Conference Facilitator training
  • Support Ngunya jarjum teams by facilitating family yarns as identified and suitable.
  • Draft processes and policies for Ngunya jarjum based on learning

In completing studies, you will be:

  • Accredited to mediate for Family Law Court matters
  • Accredited to conduct family group conferencing for Children’s Court matters
  • Experienced in the art of family yarning circles and facilitation of family led discussions
